Nari Shakti Uday - 2026
Nari Shakti Uday – 2026 was a flagship three-day Women Empowerment & Health Initiative successfully organized by the National Youth Foundation (NYF) from 08–10 July 2026 at Government College (Autonomous), Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. Designed to promote preventive healthcare, women's health awareness, education, leadership, and holistic empowerment, the initiative brought together healthcare professionals, subject experts, government officials, educational institutions, volunteers, and community stakeholders on a common platform dedicated to improving the health, well-being, and socio-economic status of women and adolescent girls.
The programme adopted an integrated approach by combining free preventive healthcare services with awareness and capacity-building activities. Participants received comprehensive health screenings, medical consultations, nutrition counselling, menstrual hygiene education, mental health and wellness sessions, legal rights awareness, financial literacy guidance, entrepreneurship support, skill development training, and information on various Government welfare schemes. Interactive workshops, expert talks, cultural performances, and community engagement activities further enriched the learning experience and encouraged active participation.One of the major highlights of the initiative was the Women's Health & Empowerment Awareness Rally, which mobilized the local community and promoted key messages on preventive healthcare, gender equality, women's education, health rights, and social empowerment, inspiring greater public participation and awareness.Through its holistic and community-centric approach, Nari Shakti Uday – 2026 significantly contributed to enhancing health awareness, encouraging early disease detection, improving access to quality healthcare services, and empowering women with the knowledge, confidence, and resources to lead healthier, informed, and self-reliant lives.
The successful implementation of the programme reaffirmed the National Youth Foundation's commitment to advancing inclusive development, strengthening community health, and creating sustainable opportunities for women's empowerment across India.
